The hotel is gorgeous, it’s the old train station, and the architecture has been beautifully preserved. The rooms are pretty standard hotel rooms. They have good WiFi. There’s a fridge and coffee maker, with coffee supplied. The bed was comfortable. The shower was very good, great water pressure, nice towels, hair dryer, and complimentary bath products. The hotel was quiet and restful. The front desk staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. There’s a cool looking bar and a restaurant in the lovely historic atrium. The room cleaning / restocking coffee and amenities seemed a bit on the random side, as one morning I found only decaf coffee, but the front desk helped out. The hotel has an airport shuttle which I didn’t use.

It was a last minute reservation; I made it an hour earlier; only stayed overnight; didn't have breakfast had to leave. The receptionist was delightful. But what really impressed me was the hotel. It has Biltmore hotel charm, look and feel. The bathroom hallway and closet floors were beautiful marble and well as the bathroom sink. The faucet was gold (not real I'm sure but beautiful) and ivory The furniture and drapery were beautiful and elegant; just as advertised but it looks even better when you're actually there and I just had a single bedroom. This will be my go-to hotel when and if I ever go back to Scranton or nearby. I honestly wanted to stay a bit longer because of the accommodation. Superb

I picked a hotel online in the area based on price and convenience. I expected the usual chain hotel. Drove past this place several times thinking we were getting the wrong address on GPS taking us back so we went in thinking they would direct us to place down the street place. But It was the right place. We were completely surprised. What a classy elegant place. We walked around like tourists in another country admiring the stained glass, the brass the marble, what a beautiful place. And the staff were so nice where you’re traveling make a detour and stay at this place. We will be back.

This hotel is an architectural and historical gem. Beautiful tile murals, tiffany glass ceilings, marble floors and walls, and beautiful details inside and out. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when I realized I made a booking mistake. They were very accommodating. They also helped us when booking.com provided me a confirmation number that extended my stay, but the hotel did not receive the change request from them. They provided a room to us at the last minute and at a very reasonable rate.

The hotel is spectacular. It is in the old station building and has been renovated to perfection. There was a wonderful bar where you could have a meal as well as a restaurant in the foyer of the station. The architecture was stunning. Our room was clean but small. However, the furniture was in good condition and made our stay comfortable. Location was great for Steam Town and downtown Scranton. The staff were friendly and approachable.
